Description:
Premium 7KW to 8.5KW Generator Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) for Blackmax Branded Portable Gas Generators. It can handle a maximum surge power of 10KW.
Special note:
1) A higher output AVR will definitely work perfectly on a low output generator while on the contrary, a low output AVR CANNOT be used for a higher output generator.
2) Most replacement AVRs on the market are only rated at 5KW and can only handle a maximum power of 6KW. They are too weak to be used unless your generator's total load does not exceed 5KW!
3) If our AVR is not adjusted for your generator, please manually turn clockwise or counterclockwise a small bronze screw in a blue rubber part to reach your desired output. Clockwise rotation is to increase and counterclockwise rotation is to decrease the output voltage. If this does not help you, please contact us for technical support.
4) A 2-wire capacitor voltage regulator may be installed in your generator.
