Description:
The Murphy 0-100 PSI Mechanical Pressure Switch 20P-100 is a diaphragm-operated, pressure-indicating gauge with a built-in electrical switch. This switch is used to trigger alarms and/or shut-off devices. The measuring mechanism is enclosed in a steel housing that is coated to resist corrosion. A polycarbonate, shatterproof lens and a polished, stainless steel bezel help protect this rugged, built-to-last instrument. Accuracy and protection against moderate overpressure are assured by a unique, unitary diaphragm chamber. A built-in pulsation damper helps eliminate pointer flutter and is removable for cleaning.
The gauge pointer acts as a pressure indicator and as a switch pole that completes a circuit when it touches the adjustable limit switch. The contacts are grounded through the Swichgage case and have self-cleaning movement to ensure electrical continuity. The gauge pointer makes with an adjustable contact to complete a pilot circuit. Specifically designed to protect engines/equipment in oilfield, marine, irrigation, construction and truck applications to monitor engine lube pressure, water pump pressure, hydraulic pressure and air pressure.
