Automatic voltage regulator DVR2000E for Marathon
Article number: DVR2000E
The Marathon DVR2000E voltage regulator is an electronic, solid state, microprocessor-based control unit. The automatic voltage regulator regulates the output voltage of a brushless AC generator by controlling the current into the generator's exciter field. The input power to the DVR2000E comes from a multi-pole, high frequency permanent magnet generator (PMG).
Marathon DVR2000E Voltage Regulator features and capabilities:
Four control modes:
Automatic voltage regulation (AVR)
Manual or Field Current Control (FCR)
Power Factor Regulation (PF)
Reactive power control (VAR)
Programmable stability settings
Soft start control with adjustable time setting in AVR control mode
Overexcitation Limitation (OEL) in AVR, VAR and PF control modes
Underfrequency regulation (volts/hertz).
Crowbar circuits protect the field
Overtemperature protection
